John O’Keefe served Boston as a police officer for 16 years. He was 46 when he died.
To his family, John was a devoted son, brother, uncle and friend. After his sister and her husband died, he took on raising his niece and nephew, making their needs the center of his life.
We honor the life he lived, the people he cared for and the community he served. As we examine the record, we keep John and the loss felt by those who loved him at the heart of this work.
